Job Description

This position is responsible for the direction of daily activities and work product of the APD (auto physical damage) claim handling unit, and monitors and ensures the quality of claims handling, customer service and financial management within the unit. Actively supports creation of MSA’s customer service culture.


The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with continuing industry education (SCLA, AIC, CPCU, CIC) is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years claims experience.
  • Has a minimum of 4 years handling Auto Physical Damage to include handling first party , liability claims ,SIU and total losses 
  • 3 to 5 years supervisory experience managing a multi-employee team is preferred (but not required), including proven leadership, teamwork and training skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of casualty experience.
  • Progressive career development.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Financial and claim data analysis ability.
