Main Street America (Austin Mutual Insurance Company) has an opening for a Business Development Executive in our Arizona territory.

This position serves as the lead field contact for assigned agents with ownership for profitable growth. Overall assignment will entail a select core of current and prospect “high growth potential MSA agencies” within a geographic territory.

Responsibilities include agency management and aggressive new business development driving assigned agents to meet their business plan.   In this role you will appoint new agents, develop agency business plans and serving as the primary sales and marketing point person for our Personal Lines and Commercial Lines customers. 

The ideal candidate resides in the territory of Arizona, and have strong knowledge of the territory including agency competitor prior experience with independent agents in Arizona..    The successful candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience in the insurance industry with experience in sales marketing customer management and underwriting.    This job requires daily travel four to five days a week.
