JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the management of all surety bonds large commercial accounts production, underwriting activities and agency management for the assigned territory. Accountable for the acceptance, declination, and rating of risks within assigned authority limits. Responsible for the development of the operation plan for this assigned territory including the acquisition and retention of large accounts. Develops and executes marketing plans for assigned territory within underwriting standards, rating and product development strategies. Provides consulting expertise to customers to generate solutions to problems or identify needs. Candidate must be able to travel within the assigned region with the possibility of some overnight travel as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•    Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in Business, Marketing or Accounting
•    Completed Fidelity and Surety training or AFSB certification preferred
•    7+ years of relevant work experience
•    Thorough knowledge of underwriting guidelines with emphasis in bond production and underwriting activities
•    Agency management experience in the defined territory
•    Track record of solid production and profitable growth of contract surety account business

This is a work from home, remote position.
