Job Summary: 

This position manages ceded reinsurance accounting.  Also manages process for development of all ceded reinsurance premiums, oversees deposit premiums and calculates year end adjustments. Manages the accounting of ceded aspects of assumed reinsurance and program business.  Manages the ceded reinsurance claims function.  Maintains and reconciles ceded subsidiary ledgers on a monthly basis.

Role Education and Experience Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related field -At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis experience -GAAP and/or Statutory accounting knowledge -High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office -Excellent analytical communication  (written and oral) and organizational skills -Ability to work successfully both in teams and independently -Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/assignments and consistently meet deadlines with limited supervision -Knowledge of underwriting operations
