Job Description

Technical Training Consultant:

A newly created  Technical Trainer Consultant position is available in  our Jacksonville, Florida office location.    

This position reports to our Human Resources Department and is primary for planning and directing our technical  training and educational programs to support business strategy. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • All training requirements for company-wide system and software implementations including Microsoft 2016, EI10 and Sharepoint
  • Development, oversight and ongoing maintenance of the learning management system
  • Liaison to educational partners such as universities, Pluralsight, LinkedIn Learning, Torch and other vendor-based programming
  • Development and deployment of various online and instructor lead performance and technology programs
  • Primary system and technical expert for department – learning management system, Excel, MSA system trouble shooting and resolution, Skype troubleshooting and resolution, Robohelp troubleshooting and resolution, Camtasia, Lectora, Audacity and videography

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 - 7 years experience in training delivery and facilitation
  • Knowledge of specific development technology including: Captivate, Lectora and RoboHelp. Graphic design a plus
  • 3 - 5 years experience in technical instructional design and performance management and development systems
  • Skills in coaching and people management practices and organizational development and change management theory, methodologies and application
  • Strong consulting and relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
